In 2005 before Eli. J came about, one of my sisters and I managed another brand called 1850. We sold at various pop-ups and consigned at many stores actively.

After my son came along in 2008, and work got busy for my sister, I decided to start my own brand. It also came about at a point in my life when I needed to learn to be courageous, and learn to stand on my own two feet.

Eli. J (pronounced “E- Lai Jay”) is a blend of my son's name and mine. It was just the two of us then, and the bond that we had was (and still is) very special.

 I am self-taught, and started off making jewelry as a hobby (mostly doing consignment at shops), with my main work as a classical piano teacher.

This little business is run solely by me, in Singapore, with every part of the process, from sourcing and purchasing, designing, crafting, managing all online matters, and finally to making sure your purchases reach you safely, and even beyond that, done by me. 

 I do occasional pop-ups and have showcased at Boutique Fairs Singapore, and Tang Plaza (Orchard). 

Why handmade?

Handmade jewelry is a result of the creativity, talent, and hard work of artist(s), and to own a piece made by the artist, is considered a rarity in today's mass-produced, fast-fashion industry.

I hope to bring something precious and special, and that will bring you joy, in this lifetime we have on earth. 

Every piece is made by my two hands, and because of the nature of gemstones, no two pieces are ever completely alike. With plenty of passion, and a love of observing the beauty that surrounds me, and exploring new places; I love to think up new ideas, and strive to channel this into my work.

Eli. J Fine Jewelry

Established in early 2019, my fine jewelry line started organically from my handcrafted jewelry brand.

With the help of my husband, who has been in the high-end fine jewelry industry since 2004 (and his family, for decades before him), we partner with experienced master craftsmen and trusted contacts to bring your dream heirloom jewelry pieces to you, jewelry that will last you and your family generations.

Giving Back

Since going full-time into jewelry in late 2018, Eli. J has given back to numerous organizations such as the Daughters of Tomorrow, Singapore Cancer Society, SPCA, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Willing Hearts. 

As much as I have been blessed, it is my hope that with your support, we can help those in need, with dignity. To date, we have donated to at least 7 different organizations. 

We hope to continue to do this every year. Thank you for helping us make this happen!
